Bought a chicken from butchers on Thurs, ok use on Mon?

Yea, couldn't agree more. We go through so many thighs, 1/4s, fillets, wings but never buy breast anymore.

Oh yea there is always a place for wings.

I dust those in cornflour, deep fry them, then cover them in your favourite sauce, it you want to get fancy sprinkle some fine chopped spring onions. Put it in a low oven just for a bit, not to really cook, but just to "dry on" the sauce a little, make them a bit more tacky.

Have that with some grilled buttered corn on the cob, home made slaw and french fries.
 
I cant eat meat with a bone through it
Fine with me! I'm being a bit facetious but I'm guessing you think all meat comes in plastic packets - not from animals? ;) MY girlfriend doesn't like meat on the bone but I make her have it (:rolleyes: ). People don't seem to understand when cooking curries etc. that LOADS of flavour comes from the bones. I just bought Indian Kitchen by Maunika Gowardan and literally every chicken recipe is chicken on the bone. There's a reason!

Mmmmm I love wings. Unfortunately as per above it's on the list of things I never get to eat :(
