Ah well, I take it they are still doing the 3 year warrenty for the RROD?

Surly pumping 203w though a console which only requires 175w can't be good for the unit. Pump up the watts on a cpu and it gets hotter even if it's not being clocked. I assume the 360 components will work the same way.

Look on the bottom of the power brick.
Look at the power brick.
If it says 175w its a Falcon, if it says 203w its an older version

what about the people with 700W+ psu in thier pc.. it will only use what it needs.. the 30 is the same way
You don't 'pump' watts anywhere, the watts is the current the device draws. My Falcon is still on my original 360's PSU and that's rated for 250 watts, it just means the PSU doesn't have to work so hard and therefore stays cooler.

Sounds odd, Falcon is 65Nm so I don't see why it would use the same amount of watts as the older models?
My Falcon is 175, anyway.
