I bought the Goliath system last November and have just purchased a

Corsair Force 60GB F60 2.5" SATA-ll Solid State Drive (CSSD-F60GB2-BRKT)

At the moment my system uses:

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (ST31000528AS)

I run Windows 7 and just want to install on the SSD to make booting faster etc.

What's the best way of doing this?

OK I literally unplugged the old harddrive and then plugged in the new one using the same cables.

I then activated ahci and installed windows.

I've used crystaldiskmark and it's giving me read speeds of 201.2 and write of 100.1

Is this what I should expect or have I not installed everything correctly?

You need to use ATTO to bench your drive as it uses a sandforce controller.

Sounds about right for a 64GB drive with uncompressable data. Check with ATTO that speeds for compressible data are up near the box specs (285 Read / 270 Write)
