Bought two samsungs

Heya guys, I picked up two Samsung 500GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic

They were insanely cheap and was well worth it, However when they come I want to raid zero them, Can I expect speeds of around 1GB/S with two of these drives running at raid 0?

No,

You will get up to 2x what the SATA bus drives a single drive at and depending on the data type size, compressibility etc.

They will be fast though. Downside of raid 0 is if it goes pear shaped for any reason. I would use then as single drives as the additional speed will not be noticeable except when benching.
