Boxing Day Bargains

I only get stuff when I need something and always look online first. You can get bargins all year around if you look around. I really hate all these after xmas / new year sales, it is always sheer manic, I used to work in retail for too many years glad it is now over.

No, no chance I would have gone shopping.
Probably should have looked on line, there's a fe things I wnat. But didn't do that either.

Nope, for the same reason as 'Black Friday'. People get suckered into buying for the sake of it, when in fact you can get great deals all year round.

Bought a superking bed and base. Apparently previously priced at £2.1k but reduced to £1050. We blagged another hundred off and free delivery :)

My idea of a saving is not NOT purchase an item or to NEED an item and get THAT item cheaper than expected...

My other half will think she has saved money by buying an item on sale we would not usually want or buy..

However if you do need a specific item and it's likely to be cheaper, it would be a bit silly not taking advantage.

It depends how you look at sales, some go out and buy pointlessly.
Others like in the black friday thread have items they want/need and can get them cheaper at such times.
