My first spoiler thread in quite a while :o Anywho lets get this xmas bull**** out of the way and focus on the important stuff.

Barclays Premier League
Aston Villa v Arsenal, 17:15 (Sky Sports 1)
Chelsea v West Brom, 13:00
Liverpool v Bolton, 15:00
Man City v Hull, 15:00
Middlesbrough v Everton, 15:00
Portsmouth v West Ham, 13:00
Stoke v Man Utd, 12:45 (Sky Sports 1)
Sunderland v Blackburn, 15:00
Tottenham v Fulham, 13:00
Wigan v Newcastle, 15:00

With Scholes back it wouldn't surprise me if he started, but personally i'd like to see:

VdS
Rafael - Vidic - Ferdinand - O'Shea
Ronaldo - Carrick - Anderson - Nani
Berbatov - Rooney

The atmosphere at Stoke will be electric though, I remember watching them earlier in the season and the TV microphones were getting distorted because the crowd were so loud, god knows what it'll be like to tomorrow if United don't score early.

not really thinking about this today but we (man utd) really need to win this one to build on the pressure that has come about no so much from our actions as our rivals inability to get more points on the board over last few games.

I can see stoke sticking everyone behind the board ad making it a real frustrating afternoon for me though.

* edit: it's not a board it's a ball, less brandy for me then.

I will be very happy with three points any way Utd can get them - with jetlag and not playing EPL opponants for a few weeks & with our away form it probably wont be thrilling by any means - also wouldnt be surprised if Berba isnt still suffering from the virus he caught on the way to Japan, so a chance to start Tevez and Rooney upfront again

Would be good to see De Silva playing on the left of defence (sub appearance) after his decent appearance while the main team was away in Japan - Im sure he is already better than OShea

I bet Fletcher starts

Arbeloa is meant to be injured for tomorrow but it's unlikely that he'd have played anyway. Against Bolton (and a couple of other sides) Rafa likes to move Carra to RB and play Big Sami CB to counter their aerial threat. Masch and Dossena should have recovered (hopefully Dossena doesn't play though) from their illness and Torres could be in the squad but i'd be shocked if he even comes off the bench (unless we need him too) let alone start.

Possible 11:
-----------------Reina
-----Carra--Hyypia--Agger--Insua
Benayoun--Gerrard--Masch--Riera
-------------Keane--Kuyt

Not optimistic about Arsenal. We're running on a bare team. We're not even playing a big game (even though it's clear it must be treated like one). Not looking forward to it at all.

Fabregas being injured should force Wenger to finally purchase a central midfielder, at the very least in January. A midfield of Denilson, Song, Diaby and Eboue frightens the hell out of me. Nasri hasn't done the business in away games this season. We will need him tomorrow though if we are to create anything going forward.

Surely Fergie requires cover for the left-side of defence if O'Shea is the best to be had. I would also like to see Berba sit in the stands and watch Rooney and Tevez work for the team. Score? 0-2

Most of the Prem games look like boring draws except for Chelsea, running out easy winners.

Aston Villa 1v1 Arsenal, 17:15 (Sky Sports 1)
Chelsea 4v0 West Brom, 13:00
Liverpool 2v2 Bolton, 15:00
Man City 2v2 Hull, 15:00
Middlesbrough 0v0 Everton, 15:00
Portsmouth 1v1 West Ham, 13:00
Stoke 0v3 Man Utd, 12:45 (Sky Sports 1)
Sunderland 1v1 Blackburn, 15:00
Tottenham 2v1 Fulham, 13:00
Wigan 0v2 Newcastle, 15:00

Those are my predictions

Jetlag shouldn't be an issue really.

We have Rafaels twin brother Fabio who is a left-back, but he dislocated his shoulder early on in the season and is just coming back.

We have 3 right-backs and 3 left-backs.
