Boxing Day Football **SPOILERS**

I was hoping to go to the Everton game today but sadly cannot make it. I'm expecting all three points.

Well as we are on predictions, I think it's clear Liverpool are clearly going to win the title this year by a few points as no one else seems to want it. Liverpool 2008/9 premier league champions.

Last year when I made the prediction they spent the next 3 months falling apart. I think it has gotten to the stage when I needed to make it again :D

Hope United have realised how the league is looking for us and come out all guns blazing. We are always stronger post christmas and hopefully they'll come out all guns blazing today and kick on for the rest of the year. I'm going for a big 4-1 win (Please God!) to remind Chelski and the house of Scouse what they're up against (The Champions of England, the Champions of Europe and the Champions of the World!). Also, if Bolton can knock seven bells of hell out the scousers then that would be nice too!

:D:D.

Stoke: Sorensen, Wilkinson, Abdoulaye Faye, Shawcross, Higginbotham, Delap, Whelan, Amdy Faye, Pugh, Cresswell, Fuller. Subs: Simonsen, Olofinjana, Lawrence, Pericard, Davies, Tonge, Sonko.
Man Utd: Van der Sar, Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, O'Shea, Ronaldo, Scholes, Fletcher, Giggs, Rooney, Tevez. Subs: Kuszczak, Berbatov, Park, Carrick, Welbeck, Rafael Da Silva, Evans.

Interesting. He's put out one of our weakest sides.
No Anderson in the squad after an excellent CWC, Neville in after he cost us 2 goals in the CWC, Fletcher starting and Carrick, our best player this season, on the bench.

I'd have liked some changes but i guess if you look at it with our fixture congestion then this is probably the match he feels he can most afford to rotate a little

what is it, 8 games in 26 days or something

Even with that, I dont think Neville should be allowed on the pitch in a read shirt anymore (however great a servant he has been for the club in the past)

I would rather play Park at RB to be fair, and I think he could do a good job there.
I don't mind the dropping of Anderson or Carrick, but not at the same time. It's a mish-mash of the team.

I feel like death warmed up after yesterdays culinary and alcoholic exertions. The last thing i feel like doing at the minute is dragging my arse along to the SoL. I suppose atleast it's better than playing at home on New Years day.

Fully expecting a win today though.

We played 7 games in 20 days through October and November. It's not just United that have a fixture congestion :p
