Boxing Day Football **SPOILERS**

Villa deserve fourth on our pathetic team. Both those goals were stupid to concede. Utterly annoyed. I mean being unlucky and not winning is quite annoying. But being so damn jammy for once today and we still didn't wrap up three points. DAMNIT!!

LOL el_dazza must be a bit shell-shocked - just lost out on £100 in the last 3mins...

Not too impressed with Villa over the last 2 games, playing nice football but also getting complacent - amount of times Arsenal had a man on our right (EDIT: I meant left) in space in the final third was shocking. I thought we wouldnt get many chances without Carew but glad to be proved wrong. Our dead balls were good though - only 1 went to an opposition player...

Arsenals first goal just shouldnt have happened - Reo-Coker should have hammered that ball into row Z, RB/LB issues are becoming more obvious...

For both teams a grudgingly accepted draw is fair unfortunately...

Damn right, but at the end of the day, I've actually only lost a tenner. I kept thinking at 2-1 how I would react if we scored...

I went ******* bananas :D

Agreed, we've been pretty slack but taken 4 points. I think Knight did a decent job today, but Reo-Coker is NOT a defender. He naturally gets too far forward but isn't quick enough to get back.

Cracking game and a draw was the absolute least Villa deserved. Not that it really mattered but a draw's the best result for us.

Not sure who i want to finish 4th tbh. On one hand it would be nice for somebody else to get into the CL (as long as it's not in place of us) but on the other hand i'd love to see O'Neil face when Barry, Young etc tell him they want to leave in the summer :D

Nice bait ;)

Your title challenge still on track after the draw dazza? ;)

First thing I was going to do if we lost was quote that and say perhaps not, but the way this season's going I wouldn't give up just yet. Whilst in most people's eyes we aren't realistic title challengers, the teams above still need to keep putting in good performances.

Did you see Knight and Davies position for the Arsenal second? Was amateur hour :(

Reo-Cokers forced to play in there and agree he needs to be back in the midfield - just the Shorey LB issue thats so annoying - aggrh!!!...

EDIT: I foresee Hull being a much bigger test than Arsenal were today...

Davies had a good game bar that error, and sadly that's what counts. Cuellar's aerial ability was seriously missing today, and we need Carew to latch on to young's crosses. We might have pace, we might have talent, but we lack an aerial threat.

Really rubbish performance from United today. Knew we'd struggle when I saw the team sheet, why Carrick didn't start is beyond me, he should be playing every game. You don't see Lampard getting rested randomly.

Rooney was lucky to stay on the pitch, no idea what the linesman was watching. Still, 3 points is 3 points, onwards and upwards.

MU were ****ing shocking :(

I must be the only person in the World that can stand in the main pub in Wolverhampton surrounded by 200+ Wolves fans in my MU shirt :D

well that was a brilliant bloody game. Villa deserved that, apart from a 20minute spell they were the better team. When Ramsey came on at first he looked class but after a while you could really see his inexperience showing and see the villa players start to target him with pressure. I think he'll be very good but needs a year or so yet.

Aye I thought Ramsey looked a little out of his depth at times, needs another season in the carling cup I reckon.

Haha would have been worse if you were in a west brom shirt tbf. lol

I don't know if I should be happy that we played badly but still got 3 points, or worried that we're struggling to break teams down.

I've also finally lost my patience with Ronaldo. I hope he goes next month.

January ongoings at the Emirates.
Arsenal's shopping list:

2x Central Defenders
2x Wingers (Left&Right)
1x Striker (With good aerial threat)

Arsenal's Bin contents:

Silvestre
Eboue
Denilson
Song
Gallas
Toure
Diaby

I still can't believe we managed to offload Silvestre onto you. I thought Wenger was quite shrewd in the transfer market?
