Boys Names

Look, Riiya, if you think you could live with Sasha then go for it. Don't give a monkey's about what we think. Like you said in your previous post, your not happy with your current name. If you're happy with Shasha it shouldn't matter what we think. Just thought i'd express my opinion :)

alright in all seriousness forget Sasha...... imo

why do you want an "i'm unique" name anyway ? to draw attention to yourself ?

and the only way to have a truly unique name is to make something up........

Sorry, but I don't see me LIKING Sacha the same as me wanting to be 'unique'.
I guess this stereotypical world is stopping me though :P From the amount of ill informed people concerning the name Sacha I think I will take your advise.

You are right, of course. I'm sure if some random person asked me my name and I replied with Sacha, they wouldn't really care. It's only because i'm suggesting CHANGING my name to Sacha that people are sceptical :P

I could just call myself Alex and assume the nickname Sacha :P

All the names I keep coming up with turn out to be Unisex :/

It's also an auxiliary verb.

Lol.

Well people. After much consideration I have managed to get my name down to two different possibilities. Sacha is gone. Out of the window. Instead, we have:

Alexis

Jayden

Surname will be Light.

Alexis Flows with the surname, but Jayden looks better written down :P

Both of those sound very feminine. Are you thin, neat and boisterous?

the men in my family are called

Nathan

Lawrence

Hayden

Gareth

Alexis

Nick

and Lewis

I like all of those names, but Lewis is the only one I personally chose. (my son)

I don't like Sasquatch or whatever you said before, but I suppose it really depends where you are from and what you look like, you might "look" like a Sasquatch.

p.s. can't stop thinking "at home on the Franch"

G

Is the reason for the name change to spare your family the embarassment of your civil ceremony marraige to Jean Pierre?

Seriously, a name can have a major effect on your image. Lose the feminine names and go for something which sounds purposeful and strong.

Alexis ever had any problems with his name :P ?

Lewis is really nice, too :)

My name is Brian Parkinson.

I despise my family for childhood reasons which are too embarassing/disturbing to talk about, but would scar any normal person - use your imagination, I'm sure the first thing that comes to your mind is correct.

Changing my name not only relieves personal stress, i.e. not having to be reminded all the time, but also allows me to completely avoid any contact in the future (finding me in phone books, internet sources, other sources etc).

Brian Parkinson is actually a nice name in my honest opinion, but I have my valid reasons for changing it.

Doubt it.

Jesus Christ, you honestly thought that line was serious?

Nope not at all. I thought it was in extremely poor taste and you should have read the thread more carefully before you posted it. Given what he'd said previously ;)

Guess I missed a rolleyes or something :p

Hmm yeah. I guess Alexis is quite feminine tbh.

I guess it is between Alex and Jayden then. Jayden, i think, doesn't sound too feminine; i'd think it was a boys name first time.
