I've currently got Bitspower 7/16" compression fittings in my system, but would like to get EK ZMT tubing.
Has anybody tried this combination please?

Got zmt on 3/8id by 5/8od

There's 2 sizes

And

You would think that's so close
It wouldn't matter
But the ever so bigger one wasn't airtight
And feels much flimsier
The smaller one I had a bit of difficulty getting some
Of the fitting collars on
Should have used a little bit of washing up liquid
To help them slide over to screw on

Definitely recommend getting the smaller one
Even if a bit tight to go on
A dip in a cup of water from the kettle solves that
And lubricate it to get the collar on
Was only the ek torque fittings I had issues with collar
Other fittings were fine

Can always dunk the end of the tube in some warm water to help it get over the fitting too.
Yeah that's what I do
Even got the tubing onto 3/4 quick disconnects doing that lol
The size difference between those 2 zmt
Seems tiny
But when you have both to compare
One just feels flimsy and the other feels sturdy
Not very scientific I know lol
But the actual feel of them belies the tiny
Difference in measurement

Thanks for the response. So the smaller of the two sizes, 16/10mm, fits the Bitspower 7/16 compression fittings ok?

Tried it on some old fittings
Bits power,ek classic,monsoon, xspc
And some don't even know the make
Went on all of them
Some were 7/16 some 6/16
Only the ek torque were a bit hard to get
The collar screwed on
Though to be fair I no longer have the strength
In my hands I used to

you have to be careful when putting smaller tubing on to bigger fittings but 10mm / 11mm will be fine.

my first ever build was with barb's and i used smaller tube so i didn't have to use clamps.
lots of people did this and it was ok but as the materials used in tubing as changed over the years some now splits when stretched
