Which is best to replace mine with when i bleed the system later in the week?

dot 4/5.1/mineral etc

If it has DOT4 (which IIRC it does), then DOT4 or 5.1. 5 (that's 5 not 5.1) is a different composition IIRC, and mineral would be a no-no in a system designed to use a synthetic oil.

dot4, super dot4 or dot 5.1 depending on how hot youre planning to get your brakes

i gots loads of castrol super response dot4 for cheap if youre interested. bmw wudnt let me use it even though its a higher grade of fluid.
