Brand New Skins season 7 Trailer out!

So the new 7th and final season trailer has just come out today noticed there where no threads about it today? A people just not fans?

'The series, titled Skins Redux, scheduled to air July 2013. will see the return of former Skins stars Hannah Murray as Cassie, Jack O'Connell as Cook and Kaya Scodelario as Effy in three individual stories. The three stories will have their own titles: "Skins Pure" (Cassie), "Skins Rise" (Cook) and "Skins Fire" (Effy).

“They will play their iconic characters as they emerge into adulthood, and bring new challenging stories of young adults, grappling with life in Cameron's Britain, to vivid and entertaining focus.”

So who's into skins ? your thoughts on the new series and trailer? I have always been a big fan though the series lost its 'thing' after season 3 for me But hopefully the return of previous characters will re-kindle the flame and the final series will go off on a high!

I watched series 1-4 and thought they were great, but I could never really get into the next two for some reason. As these are featuring characters from those, I may well be tempted to watch.

Series 1 and 2 were pure brilliance. As soon as they changed the cast....meh. Gave up after the dross that was series 3.

I am currently in what I feel to be a unique position of never seeing seasons 1 and 2. I do not know why but I completely ignored this show when it started.... god knows why lol.

I vividly remember seeing a few bits of an episode where one of the characters had morning wood, got up and tried to wee without it going everywhere so went in the shower instead lol, but I never made an effort to sit and watch?

Some time ago my wife picked up seasons 1 and 2 dvd's in a charity shop and I just forgot about them (even forgot they were signed by the cast members lol...

) So I am now going thru each disk and boy I really understand what people were on about now! Season 1 so far is a riot lmao and I have season 2 to watch yet! I got into skins from season 3 and thought this Effy thing is a bit much, I now get why they have focused on her a bit ott.

So lets see how series 7 pans out

This rings true for me. Really enjoyed seasons 1 and 2 (especially as I was at uni in Bristol at the time) but it went to complete **** for season 3.

Effy was brilliant before she started to speak. Then she found her voice in Series 3 and introduced daft characters like Cookie, the weird nerdy posh girl and the twins...it lost its way.

Yeah it think they have done this wrong the show's heart was the struggles of growing up, friends, death, Virginity (Sid) and coming of age! They should just have made references in season 3-4 of what the cast (season1-2) are doing now.Like effy could just say what Tony was doing. Though i do like having something to watch as im bored of all my other TV shows .

I hope with Cassie's episode they will talk more about the first season characters.

As someone who wants to work in the city these last two episodes have been rather interesting.

With showing Effy grown up it lost much of the quirkiness of the older series when they were all younger

Yeah i hope so , atleast a comment about Sid (i know it didnt work out) But thats part of it sometimes its unfixable.
