Branson, and NTL, what a clever man!

The Virgin name was invented by some office clerk back in the days of selling from the uni magazines.

Branson's Autiobio is a fantastic read.

Nowhere near.
They got taken on in a top job and I think it was for only 12 months.
I think it may have been the Virgin Space program (probably wrong).

I'm also sure that Branson had no help but he cleverly took on the man who would kickstart his empire - Mike Oldfield. Without him and Tubular Bells, Branson would be nobody. He also took the Sex Pistols on when nobody would touch them.

Well it was awhile since i watched it :o

With regards to the OP, is this something you have read? Do you have a source?

It doesn't really make sense. Whether NTL retained the Virgin name or not surely wouldn't have been that important as Richard Branson would obviously rebrand the whole company when he bought it later, no? And why did he sell if he knew he was going to buy back?

Not disputing what you say but interested to know the underlying reasons.

He's right i received a pack about all the new stuff thats happening witha personal letter from Richard Branson, how nice of him :)

Looks good from what i can make out basically boils down to nothing much will change from what ive got now but there will be much more things to come that i can take advantage of, i didnt read all of it i was taking a dump

The conclusion i came to ........

I would rather give my money to RB than the likes of AOL or BT
