Hi,
I'm looking for parts for my mkIV golf, ie bora vents and trim pieces.
Does anyone know of any breakers around stoke or staffordshire that are any good?

I usually go here if i need any old volvo parts. Usually have a good selection of other cars in too. You can just walk in and wonder round :)
 
if you go to Mcguinness, take some tools with you, wonder in and take the bits off yourself, then pay for them at the parts desk on the way out :)
 
yeah McGintys is the best, few of the blokes are pretty helpful if you have problems (a few a sarcy bar stewards as well though)

Definately, Ginto's has been my source for parts for decades.
 
Car Transplants is much bigger and better though, found in Nantwich, see if you can have a drive up with someone

Live just round the corner from and it is brilliant, been there few times when my mate trashed his megane for a new front bumper, badge, bonnet, bonnet cable, light etc. Think he got the lot for £350.

Tried transplants in Nantwich, mentioned above?

I've found McGuinesses' the best in the area though whenever I used to go up there with family (uncle used them for parts for family cars).
 
McGuinesses' seemed really good if they had what you were after, the guys were pretty helpful too. One question, the place where you pay for parts there is a sort of caged in area of parts to the right of the desk, are these parts they are selling or are they there for a different purpose? because it said staff only i didn't go in but it looked like they had some gti lights.
I'll try transplants another day!

just looked round their website and it seems they have a few golfs and boras, is this place run on the same sort of basis as McGuinesses' where you go and remove what you want yourself ? (are all breakers like that, bit of a noob at this haha)

Forgot about that one in Kidsgrove! Well, 'church lawton', but to me Church Lawton is only the bit where I live, closer to Alsager :p
