Breakfast - what do you treat yourself with?

Nice greasy fry up to get rid of the old hangovers sometimes. Thats the only time i'll have afry up or anything like that.

Usually its just cereal and off to work.

4 x Asda Best Butchers pork sausages
4 x Asda smoked best back bacon
Button mushrooms
Couple of fried eggs OR scrambled
Asda reduced sugar/salt beans (hey, gotta watch the waistline eh?)
Half a ciabatta or a couple of toasted muffins

That's a lot of meat! [Edit: actually, it probably adds up to a small baby pig lol] more than my brother eats lol! the reduced salt/sugar beans made me lol, I suppose every little counts. For me its a well-done fried egg and toast sandwich, cut in half (I forget if that makes it two sandwiches ;)) with a nicy milky coffee and Bailey's :D

Regular breakfast is 4 hash browns, 4 rashers of bacon, beans and toast.

A special treat is more of the same, maybe with a sausage or two chucked in.

Have not eaten Breakfast for about the last 8 years. I do love a cooked fry-up but I always spend the time that would take layin in bed. Work days I'm asleep untill the very last second before I'm late and grab a cup of tea as soon as I'm in work.

Really should start haveing something in the morning as I'm starveing by about 10am.

I rarely eat anything in the morning epecially if the cwashing up isnt done. For a treat it would have to be a well done bacon on white toast butty, maybe bacon and egg with a bit of salt and pepper on the egg, ideally in between 2 toasted crusts :) . I used to have 4 smartprice mini cheese and tomato pizzas for my brekfast before they suddenly started tastin rubbish  .

Mark

Large bowl of oats with skimmed milk
6 eggs omelette (only 2 yolks)
2 pieces wholemeal toast
Tin of mackerel

Not actually a treat breakfast, just the sort of thing I would eat every day for breakfast while bulking. I would then eat another similarly sized meal about two hours later. :)

Not really mate, it's mostly fat. Very little real meat in sausages. I guess it's subjective though because my idea of a "lot" of meat is probably far higher than yours considering I eat about 300 grams of protein a day. :p

No? hmm seems a lot to me and I eat a fair bit, esp for breakfast. I would have maybe 2x sausages and 2x bacon when i had fry-ups more regularly. Just personal preference i guess.

Well one average slice of bacon only has about 3 grams of protein. And your average pork sausage only has about 4 grams. So thats only 14 grams of protein in total give or take. It's a lot of calories due to the high fat content, but not much in the way of protein. Compare it to my breakfast which is usually around 50+ grams of protein. Lean meats and fish are where the real meat is. :p

Edit: Anyway my apologies, that isn't the point of this thread. We are supposed to be talking about what we like for a treat not analysing the nutritional values of everything. It's easy for me to get carried away when talking about food! :D

Some good quality lincolnshire or cumberland sausages, cooked really slowly.
Cured back bacon, nice and trimmed up.
Hash browns :D
Beans
Fried tomatoes
Omelette
Toast
Fresh OJ
Fresh coffee

or...

Poached eggs and smoked salmon with toast :D

Cool:cool:.

Didn’t think there would be anyone from Wolves on here. Most of Wolverhampton’s natives of our age wouldn’t know what a computer is never mind the internet. Their too busy stealing cars, smoking weed and robbing little kids for 20p:D.
