Let off the throttle as soon as i hit the kill switch ?

Otherwise it will be sucking more fuel in, and wetting the plug ???

nope, cause they cover there back sides and tell you to drive slow, I would think they put precisely £0 into researching braking in techniques.

All I KNOW is that braking in hard gives more power, and I know of a lot of cars and bikes that have gone for a lot of trouble free miles running at 75% for about 50 miles then given 100%

Changing engine speeds and not labouring is far more important.

Always get mine used properly regardless of mileage - driven hard from 'the word go' (well, let them get to full operating temp first, but that's the only 'rule' I recognize). As far as I'm concerned, all this 'take it easy for the first 1200 miles' type stuff is a waste of time. Maybe in the olden days it was more important mechanically... now it's probably just mentioned to avoid litigation.. Either way, doesn't bother me - mine have always been fine and they go well :cool:

Do I care if it's still going to be living at 100,000 miles..... noooooo
