Won't happen though. I believe some form of stem cell research or something has already been voted through in Britain? One day I hope we'll achieve a state where we can literally regenerate or regrow anything (skin, eyes, arms, etc.)

I think I read somewhere the other day that they could make stem cells from skin cells. Plenty of research going on in obtaining stem cells from different methods.

Indeed. I belive they talked about being able to "roll back the clock" on an established cell so it functioned and essentially became a stem cell which could then be encouraged to change into another cell performing another "duty".
