Breakthrough in the lab

Did the daily fail want to send them back ? Bloody teeth trying to get in to my mouth to do the job of perfectly good British teeth

It's OK, he did some maths and worked it out.

Oh wait.. :D

The maths on the other topic was correct, you just failed to see how the food industry work % out.
You fail too understand that 45 grams has 2 % fat you still think 1kilo has 2 % fat but using GDA this is nt true, because we are talking about human intake not the % of fat on the item, so there are 2 types of %.

I think I read somewhere the other day that they could make stem cells from skin cells. Plenty of research going on in obtaining stem cells from different methods.

Hopefully. It'll be awesome when we reach a day where any kind of injury can be sustained and still fixed. I guess the growing of replacement organs could remove the problems associated with donor organs and all that as well.

Still, I'm not sure they know how to reattach eyes yet let alone grow them so there will be other obstacles obviously.

I'd say that the biggest problem is getting the newly grown teeth to develop in the correct position. It's no good if they stick out every which way or are different sizes/lengths, making it impossible to chew.

Theres a lot of things in the pipeline, heart & lungs are already being grown.

Even if the tooth is smaller it still usable, and correct position isnt really that hard, the living function which is hardest and it seems they done it.

Popper mastication motions require uniformly level teeth. I don't see getting them to grow properly interlocking, with the correct position of molars/incisors being a particularly easy task.

I can see them growing the teeth in a external environment then selecting the appropriate ones then implanting them.
