Great site until the word 'carbon footprint' was mentioned, so I had to close it then.

Nice, interesting waste of time lol

I notice that the US' carbon emissions per person are twice everyone else's.

The good news is that there are plenty of things that we can do to reduce our carbon footprint. The key word is reduce. We can greatly lessen our impact on climate change by using the planet's resources more responsibly. There are many things we can reduce, and many ways we can reduce them, but three of the major ones are: reduce the amount of animal products you consume (meat, dairy, eggs, leather, etc.), reduce the amount of fuel you use (car, air travel, etc.), and reduce the amount of electricity you use.

Right, leaving the politics and science aside, (if people don’t believe in Global Warming then this is an academic subject) anyone who thinks that GW is going to be tackled by the odd person up and down the country hopping onto a bus or recycling plastic bags is living in cloud cuckoo land. If you accept the scale of the problem (If you don’t there is no point in a further discussion) then you must accept that we are not turning it around in a piecemeal fashion. Either we all do it or there is no point in pretending that we can make a difference by walking instead of driving or other such "green" nonsense.
