True story:
I went to see Roxy Music in the 70s and Brian Eno used to pick on one person in the audience and stare at them through the whole concert - guess who that person was? It was very unsettling.
Another Green World is one of the best albums ever made imo. I also like the one he did with David Byrne.... Life in the bush of ghosts, I think it was called.
Before and After Science gets a bit of a mixed press, but I think it might be down to when it was released. On its merits now, I think it is very good. another great album is Taking Tiger Mountain.
Another vote for Before and After Science as a starter or Discrete Music if you want ambient. His new one ,out last week, is similar ambient. Thursday Afternoon was the first CD I ever bought.

I visit my Uncle and Aunt who have a flat overlooking the English channel. In the mornings at breakfast he plays music for airports. That music, a cup of proper coffee, a view of the sea and good company is all I ask for.
