I'm getting £2.50 difference between car insurance quotes on two comparison sites. The cheaper quote gets me Brian the Robot and the other gets me Oleg the Meerkat. Which to go for? You'd think it would be obvious but I'm going to give the toy to my nephew's son who is 5 years old and I don't know which he'd enjoy more. Oleg is cuter but Brian moves and speaks. He's a technological miracle

Obviously get Brian and keep it for yourself.

OR

Have you tried using a cashback site comparison tool? I used topcashback and it knocked the socks off all the other comparison sites - Was about 15% cheaper once cashback was accounted for.

No toy, but I care not.

I already went to Quidco and TCB but quotes came out more expensive even after cashback. My quote at the comparison sites for RAC came out cheaper than RAC via the cashback sites.

When seeing the ads for car insurance I always thought do people really decide who to chose by what toy they offer.
This thread has just answered that question.

If I was a child, Brian would give me nightmares.

You just know that behind that un-changing smile is horrific monster waiting to kill you in your sleep.

Try googles comparison service. I paid a little over £230 when every other comparison site was £350+ from the same insurers.

Those toys are pointless!

Brian looks like a peado robot.

:D

Sounds good! This one? google.co.uk/compare/

I'm already getting £394-396 on confused and comparethemarket which I'm happy with so if google can knock that down further, worth a try. Gets tedious though, I've already done my details a few times on these sites, but I've got till the 24th so worth a few more minutes of my time if I can save more.

I'll go for Oleg then.

I just put my details into google compare but there were only two insurers, Kwik Fit and Sure Thing that were slightly cheaper, certainly nothing like Adam's £120 difference. I'll stick with RAC and get myself a meerkat.

I will never use GoCompare again after they irritated me for so long with Opera man. I even wrote to them and told them to stop.

I have a meerkat on it's way to me as we speak.
