brick wall = no connection

hi guys ive recently swapped rooms with my brother and now i cant get a connection to my home hub is there anything i can do apart from move the hub

Nope, if the broadcasts from the AP aren't reaching you, you'll either have to move the hub or repeat the signal.

ok but i still dont get how one wall can stop the signal when i had two brick walls in the wall in my old room

Hot water tank, radiators, wiring can all affect the path of the signal.

You may not need to move the hub that much. Try a few feet horizontally. Raise it higher.
