Bridge Internet connection

Is it possible to bridge the connection from when my iPhone is plugged into my mac to a router so I can beam it out via wifi cheers I know it's easy to bridge on a pc im running mountain lion

Not quite sure what you're asking. Both Mac and iOS device can be used as a wireless access point, dependent on which direction you're talking about.

Personal hotspot on iOS and Internet sharing in OSX.

Yes it's possible. The exact config you'll have to work out yourself based on your own setup.
