Just a quick question, when bridging the PSU for leak testing do you leave the CPU 4 or 8 Pin unplugged? I guess you would right as it could cause the motherboard to die?

I have an old cheap psu from an ancient 1st generation pentium machine that I use for this, just plug the pump into it job done with no power to the rest of the pc it's safe and no need to unplug anything else.

Yeah, I've got the same. For me, it's easier doing that then going round and unplugging literally everything. I always tend to forget something anyway, so a spare psu is a godsend.
