Does anyone know what exactly Dell's Premium Panel Guarantee covers? My U2410 has developed a single stuck purple pixel, is it classified as a bright pixel?

I find calling them is faster, just give them a ring on their technical support line and ask to be transferred to the monitor division.

My Ultrasharp 2709W developed a bright pink/purple pixel a year or so ago and after calling them up I had a replacement (brand new) the next day.

Dell are usually pretty good with replacements

Short version: bright sub pixels or other defects aren't covered, only 'full bright' (all 3 subpixels on) are included.

Worth a try though, as it seems some replacements have been done regardless.
