Brightness changes at boot

I have nvidia 8800 and windows 7 Ult. Whenever i boot the brightness changes and i need to go back to nvidia panel to fix it. Any way around this?

go in to the power options in win 7 and change it in there

maybe its only on laptops then
thought it would have it with most having lcd`s these days

Have you get it set up to custom gamma profile in the nvidia drivers?

I've chosen " Use Nvidia settings"

I havent used Nvidia for a while, but under the nvidia panel, You should have profiles. I would guess your default profile in there is set different from what you're wanting. Alter it in there, and save it.
