thought go pro 4 black 4k options are 24-30 fps respective

25fps should be the bare minimum you aim for - drop the resolution before you drop the framerate.

Unless you're shooting in NTSC movie format than 24fps, but yeah 25fps for normal shooting, only going higher like 50 or 100 for slow motion.
