Bristol people! Anyone going to Venn Festival?

Where in birstol? I'm going over Saturday for a skate weather permitting then some club with a mate who's at UWE to a 'drink the bar dry night'

I'll have a chat with him if he comes online about it, altho i know for a fact that he's a large fan of that theklar place where some of this is happening
 
Ahh, I get it now. :) I'll have to report back sunday or monday if it was any good or not. A lot of his recent stuff is very acidy, so it should sound good thru a big rig. :D
 
I've just recently got into Plug, it's Viberts older stuff, more drum n' bass. The album "Drum n' bass for papa" is incredible.

Saw him do a Vibert set in Sheffield a few months ago, it was a great night. Have fun :)
 
Well I've just about recovered now... It was great. Vibert was amazing, but he didn't play until 2am, and I was a bit knackard by that time... it was worth waiting for tho. :) He started of with housier stuff, but later on he done loads Jungley type stuff... was awesome.

Also, I heard loads of other random stuff... Including a man playing a mouth organ with a rubber glove! :D Not everything was my cup of tea, but Dan le sac was good, and vexkiddy were hilarious. If you around Bristol this time next year, I can highly recommended it.
 
i didnt make it in the end. We all got lazy during the late afternoon and just chilled at dean lane for ages before going home cus no one could be assed to go out.... souned good tho
