I'm shocked that the demand for smoke and mirrors hasn't caused prices to shoot through the roof under this government.

Guess we can file this with the other Tory achievements of eliminating the deficit by 2015 and cutting immigration to the tens of thousands. The most cynical chancellor ever.

And in other threads on here you'll have a bunch of Tory boys saying Labour can't be trusted with immigration (they are probably right) and that Labour can't be trusted with the EU (they are probably right there too) and Labour can't be trusted with the economy (etc).

And yet they wilfully overlook that the Tories misrepresented the actual deficit from Labour, have performed poorly economically, have weakened our position globally and have not provided controlled immigration at all.

I think the main take-away from this is that we can't trust professional politicians to manage the country properly.

Of course, I wouldn't trust the Two Eds to get a tea round correct without direct supervision.
