Well that really does it. If the EU is after our Twix then I'm voting UKIP from here on.
Except that nice man Alex Salmond says there aren't any UKIP voters in Scotland so I think I might create a paradox and implode the space time continuum. So I'd better not.

And in other threads on here you'll have a bunch of Tory boys saying Labour can't be trusted with immigration (they are probably right) and that Labour can't be trusted with the EU (they are probably right there too) and Labour can't be trusted with the economy (etc).
And yet they wilfully overlook that the Tories misrepresented the actual deficit from Labour, have performed poorly economically, have weakened our position globally and have not provided controlled immigration at all.

I wish things like this got a higher profile; surely our politicians being deliberately dishonest like this should get higher billing?
(It's not just the Tories, of course, New Labour were bad enough)

I think the main take-away from this is that we can't trust professional politicians to manage the country properly.
Of course, I wouldn't trust the Two Eds to get a tea round correct without direct supervision.
