Britannia building society?

Is the sort code the same for all branches?!

Want to transfer some money to savings, and the only thing in my passbook is my account number, however my mum reckons 57-13-27 is the sort code for BACS to any account??

I think each branch has its own sort code

I think you can probably assume that from the lack of answers nobody knew.
Quite if not knowing if branches of the Britannia Building Society all have the same Sort Code makes somebody both fat and braindead I don't know.

I would consider myself far from being braindead and I must also admit that my lack of Britannia Building Society general knowledge has not hindered my life so far.
