Britans Youngest Mum to be (12years old)

And how much money is she going to recieve over the next few years in benifits? She shouldnt get any and her parents (plus the lads) shoudl be forced to pay fully and support the mother and new baby.

Edit:

Odd you havea go and express outrage at a paper for covering a story when, really, the problem is a stupid girl getting pregnant.

well we all know there is nothing better to do and its soo cool to have a baby cause lets be honest raising a child is soo easy like man

i cant belive the bit about the girl lighting up her 3rd rollie in the interview, and her mum stood there proud

a drunken romp at 11 is just wrong

My 2nd Cousin was pregnant at 12, gave birth at 13. Her mother used to let her slap on the make-up and go out with her mates til all hours. In fairness to her, she's made a go of her life since, but still, it's the parents fault tbh.

i dont understand why some are already blsming the newspaper for reporting it - The sun report news that the masses want and that's exactly what they are doing.

As for the girl i wouldnt blames her so much, we live in a society where we are constantly being bombarded with sex all the time so it is bound for stuff like this to happen.

I wonder if this will happen, if parents are allowed to smack their children when they go wrong without the fear of being labelled a childabuser and NSPCC and social worker all over the case.

oh yes, i have absolutely no idea how i've got to the ripe old age of 20 without managing to get myself pregnant, with all this pressure from society to go and have sex as soon as i'm old enough to wear a trainer bra

someone force fed her alcohol?
makes her chain smoke?
dresses her up in 'tiny black mini skirts'?

no - it's called choice

No, it's called "having far too much freedom at an age where you are not yet remotely mature enough to make those choices".

At that age her parents shouldnt even be giving her any of those choices!!

richdog and jezsoup - i don't think we should be locking kids up, and controlling their every decision - but teaching them, leading by example, and giving them the moral fibre in order for them to make the right decisions themselves

Fixed :p

This doesn't surprise me at all, I imagine that her mother is probably on the dole as well, seeing as how she has an 8 month old baby it's quite likely, that combined with the fact that the parents are no longer together make this probable...

I like the way it's being called 'a drunken 1 night stand'. I mean c'mon! she was 11! every part of that statement is just WRONG!

Whilst I am a smoker then I find it disgusting that this child is not only smoking while pregnant, but is smoking at all, especially with her mum sitting next to her professing at how proud she is of her alcoholic, cancerous, slapper of a daughter

At 11 years old you should learn to do waht your told TBH. Yes lead by example and all that too is very important for parents, but parents exercising their right to say no is also very very important. But in todays society it seems almost a crime to say no, everyone can do anything adn everything whenever they want.

At 11 years old child (hell even up to 18 onwards) mos tliekyl will not have the ability and sound logic and thinking to make the right decision. There are other factors which influences kids that age much more than them thinkin oh is this the right decision.

She still puffs up to 20 ciggies a day, despite being eight months pregnant.

She said: “I can give up smoking at any time, but I don’t find it affects my pregnancy. I also don’t drink any more.”

Yes you're special and all the medical research into the effects of smoking on unborn children doesn't apply to you.

The girl has excitedly been converting into a nursery the bedroom she currently shares with her sister.

Where'd all the money for this come from?

She has hand-picked rolls of lilac wallpaper covered with pink, purple and silver hearts.

Wish I had that kind of money.

Stacked against the walls are boxes full of baby goods, including a pram.

Same as above two remarks.
