British Comedy.

British comedy is at quite a high at the moment in my eyes, i guess i'm just to young to appreciate the classic comedy,

At the moment i enjoy :-

The mighty boosh!
Two pints of lager,
8 out of 10 cats,

Just to name a few current comedies.

For something a little older and cheesy you can't go wrong with red dwarf

Jimmy Car - comedy?

I do enjoy watching Jimmy Carr, he has incredible wit and sarcasm, Everyone has a different sense of humour though and i can see why some people wouldn't like his jokes

Forgot to mention peep show too, It always gets a laugh from me

I can see why people get his jokes and have that sense of humour - though I don't agree he has an "incredible wit", most of the time it's crude sex innuendos (not denying that it can't be funny, it's just that it constitues 90% of what he does).

This season of Peep Show has been absolutely brilliant :D

"incredible tit"

More accurate. ;)

There's very few modern comedy shows that are actually funny. Go back in time...

Monty Python's Flying Circus
I'm Sorry I'll read that again *Radio show*
Blackadder
The Goons *radio show*
I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue *radio show*
The Goodies
Fawlty Towers

Amongst others...

Yup - Red Dwarf Rocks imo, still waiting on this movie tho:-

Yes (Prime) Minister

Monty Python's "Now For Something Completely Different"

If there really were a Red Dwarf film on the go, then why would an obviously middle-aged Dave Lister be running a taxi firm in Coronation Street? ;)

Any fan will tell you this movie has been in the pipeline for years - and we're still waiting on the scripted film going into production, am sure Craig Charles will manage to fit it in around his two up coming feature films "Clubbing to Death" and "Fated" and smoking crack cocaine

I've watched every episode of Red Dwarf at least a dozen times, so I think I qualify as a fan, and I've heard the rumour for years. That's all it is.

Filthy, Rich & Catflap

Now listen daughter, it'll cost you at least £10 for an appearance by the boy Richie Rich!

Another nod for Red Dwarf [the film aint gonna happen!], Blackadder [except Season 1, that was poor.], Father Ted and Only Fools and Horses.

I haven't seen the Brittas Empire mentioned yet. I used to laugh at that :D

Catherine Tate Show, Little Britain and all the other similar modern crap are all complete dross.
