I would much prefer if the race started without a safety car but it could be a blessing in disguise for Hamilton, due to his mixed starting performances this year. Plus he can kick all that spray onto Rosbergs car.

Does Charlie Whiting even listen to the teams/drivers? I missed what Brundle said- for a SC start do they have to start on full wets? Even if they aren't necessary anymore? Because it's even more ridiculous if there are cars starting on inters behind the SC car.

One of the most exciting parts of the race is the start and they go and ruin that with a crazy decision to have a safety car, pathetic.

So after the pants SC call, I'll be amazed if anyone does more than two pit stops for tyres, no way the wets will last to to do one change to slicks, inters will be needed here.

Which probably means everyone will choose the same slick after a stint on inters.
