British Summer

Makes me laugh whenever I tell people summer is probably my Least favourite season because of the Kind of summer we get in the Uk and everyone acts like I'm some kind of weirdo! Here's why;
It's rained nearly every day for weeks and when it's dry it's far too cloudy to get a tan. It's sickly hot commuting to work and being in work everyday and really clammy of a night to the point I have not slept properly for ages. And I get hayfever so for 3 months I have itchy eyes and a runny nose.
In all the other seasons it's far more comfortable to me as I don't really feel the cold in the winter anyway. And when you do plan a nice bbq or something in the summer you guarantee that's the one day it will rain buckets all day!
Now when I was a kid the summer holidays seemed like never ending sunshine being out in it everyday but it's just not like that anymore

Was alright today, went out, roof was down... Bliss.

Raining now though, but I'm in slouch-potato mode so probably better for it I guess.

Hopefully, now we are leaving the EU, we can can back to proper english weather.

None of that fancy european sunshine stuff.

Just traditional grey/probably rain/murky summer english weather.

Me and the missus went out for dinner today, it rained, we got soaked :p

Set adrift on a memory...

Spent a few days recovering from that Bob Marley gig in bed listening to this on headphones.... with severe, and I mean SEVERE sunburn. Damn t was hot.

I was in Germany on those dates and there was not a cloud in sight. Temps were 20C-25C range. Back in England it was the usual damp humid weather. I REFUSE to believe that you had cloudless weather in the UK on 3rd-9th May :p

Glorious up t'north. I remember watching the Leeds half marathon and thinking UGH, those poor, poor people. Then again it's glorious up t'north. Lel. :(
