Hi all,
I have this really frustrating problem in my house.
There's a BT broadband home hub 2.0 downstairs connected by ethernet to a PC.
I'm upstairs using powerlines and usually have a nice internet speed.
The problem is that the internet drops out every 3-4 hours on both computers and the only fix is to reset the router.
When the broadband cuts out all of the lights on the router remain the same as if its working.
This is very frustrating as I never know when the connection will cut out and have to go downstairs to reset the router.
Does anyone know the best solution to this/what may be the problem?
I have already replaced the BT router with a new one and the problem persists. Should I try buying a different router that isnt a BT one?
Thanks
