I have recently set up a ADSL connection (with 02) my problem is that every time the phone rings the connection dies.
Every phone point has a microfiler but I had to use a old one filter as they have more than 2 phone points.
I think the old filter is faulty as when I attempted to plug it into one of the phone points I got no dial tone. I tried it on a different point and it worked fine.
Would a faulty filter cause a problem like this?
