Broadband Installation - 2 Week Wait

I ordered broadband for my flat in dublin. Got the modem the next day. Got an email this morning with my username and password.

Guess what? connection date is the 6th of March!! Bloody hell, all it takes is someone to push a button.

Is it the same story in Blighty?

Mine went active days before my activation date. I just left the modem plugged into the line and as soon as it activated the dsl light lit up on my modem and away you go

it's hardly a case of pushing a button

There can be waits like that to be activiate, it just depends if there's a capacity problem at the exchange or whatever. I've seen a lot worse than 2 weeks, trust me!

Yup, thats whats I'm at

Stuck with slow ass Ripwave atm. Haven't done any online gaming in 2 months
