More overclocking reports:



Broadwell seems to be an overclocking lemon - 1.4v needed for 4.4Ghz and 1.437v needed for 4.5Ghz.

Though this was on air and no mention of temperatures were mentioned - maybe these run cooler at higher volts, though I doubt it

5ghz I've seen on low vcore ...goes off to find it

Make sure you include benchmark results in the picture - as it's one thing to post at 5Ghz at a lower voltage, another thing to have it stable enough to run benchmarks.

What happened to the availability of these cpus?

Skylake is just around the corner and we have not seen these cpus hitting the shelf yet. Are these in a very limited supply?

They are in limited supply, yes. A few retailers have had them in stock from time to time though, it seems the demand for these is way higher than Intel predicted.

That or the 14nm production lines are busy spewing out Skylake CPU's, as Intel knows they'll sell like hotcakes?

Will the igp on the skylake i5/i7 CPUs be as fast as the broadwell i5/i7 on sale now.

Highly unlikely. Though we'll see Skylake with eDRAM at some point, haven't heard of a date yet. That will blow Broadwell-C out of the water. Probably gonna be Q1/Q2 2016 for that though.
