My mate just bought one of the 240GB Agility 3's when they were on deal last week, and I went to install it for him yesterday. Usually just a case of find a SATA 3 port, plug it in, install Windows, job's done!
Unfortunately not. I can't get the BIOS to recognise the SSD at all. I've tried all sorts of cable/port combinations (at one point, I used both cables that were on the HDD that was recognised, and it still wasn't picked up -- the HDD was picked up using the new set of cables) and done a BIOS update (it's an ASUS P8Z68-V Pro, BIOS 34xx). The green light appears on the SSD indicating that it's being powered, but it won't get recognised at all.
Is there anything else I should try before RMA'ing it? `
