I broke my foot a few weeks ago and have had a cast on it since. When I went back today I asked about the removable Aircast 'boots' but the technician I spoke to reckoned they were very bulky and not much easier to walk in than a normal cast.

Just wondering if anyone here has had a similar injury and used an Aircast boot?
What are they like to wear and walk round in?

Thanks
Andrew

Sorry, if this is inapropriate please remove, but I thought it would be OK as I was just asking for general opinions rather than 'medical' advice.

Andrew

Ignore him, he's just stirring because he has nothing better to do.

;)

Sod the aircast boots. Get some of those running spring boots that make you go 30mph!

Lol. I was only running upstairs when I did the original injury. Can you imagine the damage I would do with those things? :)

They doo look good fun though....
