Broken HDD

I found my old 1.5 TB HDD in a box the other day ( I say old its about 1.5 years old) I some how broke the SATA Data connectors so it looks like this only a little worse with one of the pins missing.

I dont know how it happend or even care how it happend, Is there a better way of fixing the issue other than re soldering a whole new SATA panel on ?

Looks like all the pins are there, you have only broken the shroud so you should be able to make a connection.

Thats not what my one looks like, I just pulled that one from the net, On my one the middle pin is missing

The middle pin is one of three grounds. It should work if the two outer pins are intact.
