Got my Icybox today for my bro, and seagate 500gb. Fitted the hdd, and plugged the sata/power cables in, then when it came to putting it inside the enclosure and screwing it up so it cant slide out....the ruddy thing wouldn't screw in as the screws are about 3mm out of place!!!!

It will only go in one way aswell due to a LED at the front and a "hole" where it shows through. I also noticed that a transparent plastic bit under the bottom which shows the "activity" had been screwed in so tight it had cracked it and the end bit was hanging off!

Phoned up the company I got it from and they said they will email me :S Not heard anything yet (I phoned at 5) so looks like I gotta wait till tomorrow :/

Thanks for the reply, I had a fiddle and tried doing it the way you said but it still doesn't work - I have notice the silver "Trim" at the back isn't pushed on properly, and however hard I try it wont fit flush, its only about 1mm out so its prob not causing the enclosure to fit in properly as its atleast 3mm out on the screw holes.

I hate RMAing stuff, takes so long!

I still need to wait for an email back from them, then send it back to them, wait till the have received and checked that its not working correctly, and then they send me a new one - so probably next week now When I phoned them I asked if they would send me a replacement (yesturday) but they wouldn't
