Yea, happened again. This time, they miraculously managed to get in without smashing a window, how convenient.

Apart from making the car a big elfing mess, only took my small container of change.

Question is, how did they get in without "forcing entry"? Worried that the next time it happens, might not have a car left....

Called the cops, took down some details, not interested. Dont blame them, since no damage and nothing taken.

What car you got ? Could be a number of techniques, Tennis ball is an old fave, usually dependant on the car/manufacturer. Can't really post it here but if you post your car make & I know I'll email you my answer.

lol im relying on the fact my cars old and french to get into it. coat hanger down the window - thank you very much!

Sorry to be critical at such a time mate, but this is exactly why you get broken into...

:(

Unless they have x-ray vision, they couldnt possibly realize that the container of cod liver oil capsules in the glove box contained some small change.

No signs of entry at all? Sure your central locking is actually locking all your doors?

Funny u should say that. I was thinking of NOT locking my doors anymore. I've not lost anything except afew squid. If they couldnt get entry easily, I am sure i would have needed a new driver side window,at the cost of my glass excess of 60 quid.

The thing that worries me is that i'm effectively helpless in this. Until the car gets proper stolen the cops wont bother.

Do you park in a secluded/completley unlit area? Is there a sucker mark for a satnav on your windscreen?

I once caught a group of kids [chavs] literally hanging off the top of my drivers side door and bending it open. Alarm was yet to go off and the glass in that window was all still intact.:confused:
There was enough room to reach in to unlock it. After chasing them off and bending the door back myself there was no sign of damage.

I thought the Tennis Ball technique was a fake myth? As Mythbusters proved that its not possible.

This was my line of thinking, save myself getting a new roof or window every time someone wants to sit in my car without me being there, still didn't stop some body taking my headunit despite the fact there was no face panel to go with it
