Hi guys,
I have in front of me a HP Pavilion ZE4300.
Its fairly old i know but its free and if i can fix it its mine.
Basically when i plug in an ac power cable the front light lights up saying ac power. But it doesnt turn on.
I know a bit about boards ect from my college course so i had a look arround and a ribbon cable was half out. The problem is the metal on the end is tatty. bits in one direction bits in the other and some have bent up. So how can i strip a ribbon cable back for fresh metal?
Is it even possible?
Thanks Shr3k
