Broken PSU pin

Hey guys,

On my PSU I have two PCI-E power connectors which I plug into my 7950. I noticed my GPU was under performing and asked for a refund for it which I got. When I unplugged my card I found one of the pins on the PSU side to be slightly reclined and twisted in the plastic shroud compared to the other pins. However the connector still fits into my card fine.

Would this cause my card to under perform by lack and power as should this pin be something I should be worried about?

Thanks.

connector was probably pushed too hard into the video card while the pins were not aligned, have you tried pushing the wire behind the pin back into the connector?

Wow thanks it fixed it. I would never of thought of doing that. I find I have to be forceful with it to get it out of my GPU. Is there any specific way to take the connector out?
