Broken SSD, help?

On the 16th of June I purchased a 120GB vertex 2 OCZ SSD from overclockers, last night it completely died.

I booted my alienware M11x (which it was in) and it wouldent boot past bios i removed the SSD and bam ... it booted.

I then put the SSD in a USB - SATA enclosure and tried it and it didnt even appear as a device within windows.

All iv'e done with the drive since I got it was install Windows 7 onto it.

Is it normal for this to happen?

Also iv'e filled an RMA sheet in for OCZ but they haven't got back to me, is they're anything else i can do?

Yes.

/srs mode, just sounds like a dead drive to me, a lot of them die this way.

Was being sarky.

Look on the OCZ user forums, it seems to be a frequent problem. Only thing you can really do is RMA it, last I heard there were no quick fixes round.
