Broken Sword I and II

Just as good as I remember. Started the first one and just arrived in Ireland

Think I'm going to hunt down and buy some of those mentioned here - hard to find but still possible. Have the original Grim Fandango here but want to get The Dig etc.

Found these during my searching:

Way ahead of you. ;)

Broken Sword Trilogy - £9 - and just noticed from that screeny that I get Beneath a Steel Sky for free too.
BaSS is free for anyone -- the publishers released it quite a while ago. You can also get Flight of the Amazon Queen, which wasn't a bad game either.

When Broken Sword went 3D, they made some awful mistakes. Most notably the sliding block puzzles; they were just a frustrating slog. I don't mind 3D games as long as the 3D bit is the display mechanism and not integral to the game.

Wow. Nice collection there orderoftheflame - clearly a man with taste!

I've done some hunting round today and found the originals for:

Sam n Max
Grim Fandango

Also, Bladerunner! Can't believe I've still got that. And lastly; Flashback.

But hey - it's the point and click games I'm looking out for now. Must find The Dig!

Got the remake of the first one for the DS and thoroughly enjoyed it. Might be time to invest in that trilogy set.

The trilogy is available for £5.99 now in Morrisons. Just picked it up.

Never played a Broken sword game before so I'm looking forward to it.

Bah...too many games, not enough time!

Yeah im a little excited as its a brilliant game! (and its time to replay the first one i think)

I was stuck for ages in Africa or wherever it is, on that mountain. I cheated and looked at a walkthrough and still couldn't do it for a while. :(

I fired it up for 10 mins. Its very low res and looks quite blocky on my 22" widescreen!

oh well, story over graphics anyday

Yeah, just spotted it yesterday in my local morrisons too, picked it up without a second thought :)

The Monkey Island: Special Edition being released this Wednesday has been "Re-done" with new visuals, but they also put in a feature where you can switch between the new style and the old 16 bit style.

Its going to be about £5-8 ($9.99 confirmed)

Can anyone help me with the Kebab bit (toilet brush) in Syria. I can't get George to "see" the toilet brush and hence get Nejo to nick it! I may have to revert back to an earlier saved game and try again, or if anyone can give me a saved game file that is just after that bit I'd appreciate it.

That's probably my favourite bit in that game! Mister Roger Moore! Alas I cannot help sadly, although I feel like finding my sold out discs and firing up Scumm
