New spoof cop show, have watched the first 2 episodes, quite funny, definitely worth the 25 mins or so per show.

Much the same here, tried it but wasn't feeling it at all, other than the hot lead. Might give it another episode or two but cant see it staying on my watch list for long.

You like the guy?

I thought it was great, snappy and funny. Also refreshing to not seem such a rehash of over done sitcom formulas.

The cast is too good for it to be so unfunny. Scripting is beyond rescue, and what's worse there is no space or format for any kind of arc or plot to continue it beyond few weeks. It was clearly pitched as 10 episode of "new boss, old crew, lols ensue" summer series.

It is a comedy, why are you expecting an arc or plot? Are we watching the same thing? Sitcom arcs are who fancies who and will they wont they.

There is no comedic device in this series at all? It's not about friendships, it's not about workplace, it's just bunch of random people we don't care about doing stupid or uneasy things. Guys believes in psychics and doesn't want to leave a chair. Guy believes he's funny so he flashes back to pranks they used to pull with their old boss. This can continue for what - two episodes, three, before you lose interest?

So the only thing that can carry it on is some sort of arc or plot. Either by turning it to a funny one-crime-per-episode plot driven procedural or by providing arcs - so we care about what happens on the screen. At the moment they have nothing. I bet you don't remember half the character names after two episodes. There isn't even uniform lead in the series, and you couldn't possibly cheer for 3/4 of characters that appear in front of you for 25 minutes. This is not going to be the "episode in which Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Phoebe, Monica, Joey said or did something" type of story telling, this is going to be that awkward show type where absolutely nothing happened for 30 seconds and you have nothing to tell your mates if they arrived slightly late and asked "so what happened?"

Yeah, after watching the second episode I'm not sure I'm going to bother any watching any more. I managed a couple of grins but it's not my cup of tea.

Bizarrely, it just secured itself full season order. Complete waste of time for me. Not a single smirk for the last two episodes.

I actually really like this show. Mainly for Terry Crews who I think might one of my favourite comedy actors on TV right now.

Just watched the first two episodes and quite liked it. Wouldn't say it's brilliant but its a good show for a Friday night in.

Plus, it's one of the few shows my wife likes that I can actually bear to watch. Which is a bonus...

Just finished watching the 4th episode, it gets funnier and funnier. The dynamics between the cast are superb. I find myself laughing out loud when I'm watching it at the gym.

It quite rightly won the best comedy award at the Golden Globes 2014.
