I can't see Renault having a truck full of money. Rumours are they haven't paid Renaultsport for a while and may be forced to have Cosworth engines next year.

I can't see any real reason that Senna is in the car other than he brings sponsorship and Renault are in need of money.

I think I'm going to stop referring to them as Renault, they're not. They're not Lotus either... So GeniiF1 then.

I can just imagine what will happen if Heidfeld wins and the team are forced to let him drive the rest of the season, he'll get slow pitstops, all the broken parts, a car that goes backwards etc.. it'll be a joke.

What, why would they do that. Bad publicity, less winnings from champion ship, irate sponsors.

I'm going to stick with Genii-LOLtus-Renault until the end of the season. But it's going to be interesting what they do for next year - how does the TV money work if they have to rename to Group LOLtus-Genii Racing or whatever?

Look at what Renault did to Trulli after he and Flav fell out in '04? Trulli didn't get a single point for Renault after France (and was booted out before the end of the year), having been ahead of Alonso in the standings up until that point. Renault would have been in with a shout of getting 2nd in the constructors if Flavio wasn't such a child.

Well, the race didn't live up to qualifying today, did it. He blew it in the first corner, and then a somewhat harsh penalty sealed his fate. Still, I thought he did okay for his first weekend back in the car.

I'd love to see a zero to hero scenario for the rest of the season with Bruno Senna, a spark of real legendary blood running through his veins, eventually taking him to the very top. Don't think it will happen but will be interesting to see.
