When someone says 'x wasn't funny' or 'y was no good', it (should) go without saying that this is their opinion. IMO and IMHO are a bit of a waste of time; who else's opinions are they likely to be voicing?
 
I didn't enjoy it at all and thought it was average at best.

The story seemed to basically be a copy of Borat except they tried way to hard to get a reaction at times and some sections seemed way too staged :/

Some of the lines in the film I found myself thinking of more of Borat than Bruno and as I've noticed since seeing it all the parts that people seem to talk about/quote the most seem to all be in the trailer.

Some of my mates seemed to love it though so I could be way off the mark....
 
It was good....got gradually better as it went on. Some of the bits he did in the middle east just had my jaw drop lol....he must have balls to dare dress as a gay orthodox jew in jerusalem hahaha. And then some of the interviews he did wit hsenios political speakers...OH MY GOD haha.

Although some things were blatantly staged and that kinda ruined it.

It should - but he was making out like "It wasn't funny AT ALL" regardless of other opinions.

lol that wont be true. i can think of atleast 3 scenes all combined lasting atleast 10 minutes of footage which just isn't 15 material lol. Even though i'm 16 and got in for the film :P:P

Apparently they have. 1 minute 50 seconds removed.

I'm assuming that'll be from the end of the focus group scene, and the swingers' party.
 
God awful, dunno why I let myself get dragged to this.

Hated Ali G, walked out on Borat so I suppose the result wasn't unexpected. Still the wife found it funny so not a total loss.

But it is the last time I'll let this pillock grace my field of vision.
 
Went to see it last night and thought it was much better than Borat. Definitely funnier imo although there were still really outrageous clips! lol
